Electronic Access to Court Records

The Florida Supreme Court has authorized the Manatee County Clerk of Circuit Court and Comptroller to provide the public with electronic access to many court records, indexes and dockets as well as non-confidential document images through this website as provided by law. Note: F.S. 28.2221(5)(a).

Based on the identity of the user and their relationship or role, the law provides various levels of access to court records for attorneys, parties, governmental agencies, and law enforcement. This access is provided by entering into a Subscriber Agreement.

How to Access Court Records

  • 1. Public Internet – The Florida Supreme Court has authorized the Manatee County Clerk of Circuit Court and Comptroller to provide the public with electronic access to many court records, indexes and dockets as well as non-confidential document images through this website as provided by law. Note: F.S. 28.2221(5)(a).

  • 2. Attorneys may enter into subscription agreements to have Internet access to all records in their cases not sealed by the Court. Attorneys are also given access to indexes, dockets and images of court records that are not confidential, sealed or expunged. There is no fee for Attorney Subscriber Access. Download the Attorney Subscriber Access Agreement. To learn more about e-filing with the Manatee County Clerk's office, go over to the Statewide ePortal website.

  • 3. Parties have Internet access to all records in some cases not sealed by the Court. Special party access will not be provided to the following case types: Sexual Violence, criminal cases, guardianships, incapacity, Jimmy Ryce, Juvenile, sealed cases. Parties access these case types through the Public Internet. Access is provided by submitting a signed and notarized access request form.

  • 4. Registered Users (Public Subscribers) have access to all records that are not confidential and will receive e-mail announcements regarding our website. This access is granted by a registered user Agreement. Register and Complete Your Profile Information to request and be granted Public Subsciber Access.

  • 5. Government agencies and their agents have access to all records that are not confidential or sealed by the Court. Download the General Government Agreement. Law Enforcement Officers receive expanded Internet access to records that are not sealed by the Court. Download the Law Enforcement Agreement. The Attorney General and the Dept Children & Families (Safe Children Coalition) have entered into special agreements with the clerk and receive additional access to juvenile dependency actions. The Manatee County School Board has entered into a special agreement with the clerk to receive access to Truancy actions.
